AMURT/ AMURTEL, JALPAIGURI RELIEF WORK NEWS PUBLISHED IN MORNING INDIA & DAINIK STATESMAN FROM KOLKATA AND PRATIDIN FROM SILIGURI ON 12TH JULY.
Ananda Marga Universal Relief Team consisting of monks and Volunteers reached to flood devastated area at Laltona Basti in Jalpaiguri District of West Bengal. AMURT has* *distributed cooked food, milk and biscuits to the flood victims. They have also provided juice to the flood affected children. AMURT has set up medical camps with the help of Asha Para medical unit. All medicines were supplied by Meghna Agrawal. Total 200 families were affected by the recent flood and AMURT provided relief materials to them. Acharya Karmeshananda Avadhuta and Abhijeet from Siliguri took lead in the relief work.
