A special lecture on Shrii Shrii Anandamurtijii’s contribution to the concept of Brahma and creation was organized by Vedic School of studies, Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata on 2nd July 2024. Acharya Divyachetananda Avadhuta, Central Public Relations Secretary, Ananda Marga Pracharak Samgha was the Chief Speaker. Prof. Bhaskar Nath Bhattacharya, Director , School of Vedic Studies, Rabindra Bharati University presided over the program. Acharya Divyachetanananda Avadhuta explained the concept of Brahma. He said that Brahma is the* *composite body of cosmic consciousness ( Shiva) and operative principle ( Shakti). He further said the relation between Shiva and Shakti is just like a piece of paper. A piece of paper has two sides. Although they are two for the sake of argument, they cannot be separated from the one paper entity. Removal of one side of the paper jeopardizes the existence of the other. So is the relation of Purusha (Consciousness) and Prakriti (Operative Principle) in the Cosmic Entity. None of them can stand without the other. That is why it is said that they are dual in theory but singular in spirit. Acharya also interpreted that there are three evolution* *processes which operate within unit structure – physical force emanated from physical clash, Psychic force resultant from psychic clash and spiritual force resultant from longing for the great. Prof. B.N.Bhattacharya in his concluding remarks highlighted the concept of Brahma with other Indian philosophies.*
*Thanks*
